 Some More Things to Know

This high elevation camp was originally established by hunters. In the summer, cooler temperatures prevail due to the higher elevation. Beans camp provides a quiet and secluded escape.

Don't be fooled by several of these sites that appear small. The area you first see is for parking, the actual site is just over the bank.

 Directions

To reach Beans Camp take the Eyesee Road (FS Road 15N01) located off Highway 96 at the south end of the town of Orleans. Travel 17 miles and turn right on FS Road 12N22. In a half mile you will reach the first two campsites. Continue down the hill to reach the other sites which are at the 4,000 foot elevation.
