Big Bear Lake California - Skiing / Snowboarding

Bear Mountain Resort is Big Bear Lake's most recognized resort and certainly its largest, but is one of three excellent ones, although Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are essentially sister resorts. Big Bear is perhaps best known for California's only Superpipe and an amazing freestyle terrain park. Snow Summit has some excellent beginner slopes as well as a series of family friendly terrain parks. Snow Valley, with more snow than other Southern California parks, is aptly named.
