Big Bear Lake California - Skiing / Snowboarding

Bear Mountain Resort and Snow Summit are scarcely a snowball's throw out of Big Bear Lake (the town), the former known for its "Superpipe" and free-style terrain park, the latter for its range of intermediate and beginner slopes. Snow Valley is to the west, is a decent alternative if you're looking for something closer to Inland Empire cities.
