China Camp State Park

China Camp State Park is known for its significant amount of legal singletrack open to mountain biking.

China Camp State Park encompasses almost 1500 acres of land and offers two main biking loops: the Ridge Fire Trail and Bay View Trail. The Ridge Fire Trail is the more demanding of the two and features 1700 feet of elevation gain over 10 miles. The Bay View Trail’s 5 miles are almost all singletrack, gaining almost 800 feet.

The singletrack trails of China Camp State Park roll through a mix of manzanita, live oak and madrone forest. Part of China Camp State Park is a wetland sanctuary and wildlife throughout the park is abundant.

China Camp State Park can become quite busy during summer weekends and a day use fee is required to ride.
