Coastal Los Angeles - Camping

Coastal Los Angeles may seem, in some ways, an unusual place to camp (as opposed to in the less populated, more dramatically wild areas of North California and the southern deserts). However, there is something to be said for camping close to beautiful and often surprisingly untamed California beach, and having central Los Angeles within easy reach doesn't hurt either.
