The Oroville area is well know for its water recreation. We
have the beautiful Feather River and Oroville Lake. Oroville
Lake has one of the world's largest earth-filled dams. Tours of the dam can be
made by appointment. Oroville Lake also has some of the best
fishing in the state of California. There are at least 2 pro
tournaments a year at the lake. The Oroville area is rich in
hisory. The California gold rush started at Sutters Fort in
Sacramento and worked its way to Oroville.
While exploring the Oroville area, make Oroville's Days Inn your home base. Every morning, you'll be treated to a complimentary continental breakfast, and you can take your meals at the on-site restaurant. After exploring the lake, if you feel less like fishing and more like swimming in tame waters, the inn has an excellent outdoor pool.
Other amenities include cable television, hairdryers, and guest laundry on the premises. Some rooms have king beds, as well as microwaves and refrigerators. This hotel is also pet-friendly.
