Disney Cruise Lines
Disney Cruise Lines provides cruise vacations to the Caribbean and a private island in the Bahamas, with an emphasis on family and kid-friendly fun. Disney characters can be seen on deck, and musical shows based on the studio's animated movies are performed in a large onboard theater. A "family nightclub" has live music, and participatory events like karaoke and trivia game shows, while kids and teens may escape their parents with activities and parts of the ship geared towards their age group. Disney also recognizes the need for parents or childless couples to get away from the kids every once in a while. An adults-only part of the ship features a spa, private pool, gym with personal trailers, and by-reservation Italian restaurant. The cruise line also schedules evening activities for kids and teens so parents can enjoy some quiet time. Most Disney Cruises visit Castaway Cay, a private island with sandy beaches and volleyball nets, and activities such as snorkeling, sailing, bike rides and more. Some cruises also visit destinations in the Caribbean, and the line also offers packages that include a few days at the Disney World resort in Florida before the cruise.
