Basic Directions
From Reno, take Interstate 80 West to Truckee. Exit at the Donner Pass Road exit. Turn left onto Donner Pass Road and cross back over the freeway. Drive approximately 3 miles along Donner Lake. After you pass the Donner Lake boat ramp, look for signs for Donner Lake Village on your left.
From the Bay Area and Sacramento, get on Interstate 80 East. After crossing Donner Summit, look for the Donner Lake exit. Get off the freeway at that exit, and turn to the right. You will drive down a hill. At the stop sign, turn right onto Donner Pass Road. Look for signs for Donner Lake Village immediately on your left.
Description
Donner Lake Village Resort is Truckee's only lakefront resort. The condominium style rooms will help to make your stay convenient and comfortable. From lake to mountain views relax in the ease and charm of Donner Lake. Featuring studio, one bedroom and two bedroom condominium style rooms as well as hotel style accommodations.
In the winter you will find many world class ski resorts within a short drive. In the summer we offer slips for your boat in this sportsmans paradise. Historic downtown Truckee offers a unique glimpse into the past with excellent shopping and dining in an "old west" setting.
Our lakeside units will reward you with breathtaking views of Donner Lake and the stunning sierras. Two corner common areas offer panoramic views and comfortable couches within the cozy confines of our lodge.
Outside spend a relaxing afternoon in the sun in our courtyard which offers barbecues, picnic tables and lounge chairs all overlooking Donner Lake and our marina, or build a relaxing fire in our fireplace lounge overlooking the lake.
Donner Lake Village has its own dock and marina with slips, where you can rent ski boats, personal watercraft and fishing boats during the summer months. Fuel is located just down the road at the Donner Lake interchange. A seasonal bait & convenience shop is located just across the street.
Winter visitors can enjoy two cozy gathering areas with fireplaces. We also offer a waxing room for skiers, so you can always hit the slopes prepared.

The front desk may close, seasonally, at different times. If you anticipate an arrival later than 8pm, please call ahead for instructions. There are managers on duty 24 hours a day to tend to your needs.
A five day cancellation policy applies. Cancellations within five days will be charged a one night fee. Cancellations outside of five days will get a full refund.
A thirty day Holiday cancellation policy applies during the following Holidays: Martin Luther King Birthday, President''s Day, Memorial Day, 4TH Of July, Labor Day, Christmas , and New Year''s Day. Cancellations within the thirty days will be charged a 2 night fee. Cancellations outside of thirty days will get a full refund.
**NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY DEPATURES, LATE ARRIVALS OR NO SHOWS**
A one night deposit is due at the time of making a reservation. Final Payment is due upon arrival.
A two night deposit is due at the time of making a reservation during the holidays mentioned above. Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.

Check Out: Check out is at 11am.
