For over 60 years, the Sifford family through two generations owned the Drakesbad Guest Ranch and welcomed visitors from all over California and the world.

We're proud to announce that Drakesbad Guest Ranch has not increased its rates for 2009. In fact, we've arranged to offer discounted rates during our shoulder seasons. Drakesbad Guest Ranch is now taking reservations for the 2009 season, and we're pleased to now offer our reservations online. Hope to see you soon!

Pricing Details

Rates include three meals per day and lodging. A one-time Lassen Volcanic National Park entrance fee will be added to your room rate. The fee is waived if you hold any of the current valid National Park Passports.

Directions

From San Francisco:

Take Interstate # 80 to Vacaville. Turn north on Freeway # 505 to Interstate # 5 north to Red Bluff. Turn east on Highway #36 to the town of Chester. Turn left at the Fire station and follow the road signs to Drakesbad.

From Sacramento:

Take Interstate # 5 north to Red Bluff. Turn east on Highway #36 to the town of Chester. Turn left at the Fire station and follow the road signs to Drakesbad.

From Reno, Nevada:

Take Highway # 395 north to Susanville, take # 36 west to Chester. Turn right at the Fire station and proceed to Drakesbad.
