Eagle Mountain

This trail is an old mining road that you can follow into the Pinto Basin and then upward into the Eagle Mountains, along the dry spring of the Conejo Well.


 The Basics

Location: Joshua Tree National Park
Fee: $5 - $25 to enter the park.
Difficulty: Intermediate
Difficult
Elevation Change: 200 feet
Time to Allow: 2-4 hours


 Directions to Trailhead

    From I-10
  • Exit at Joshua Tree National Park.
  • Take a left and drive the 8 miles to the Cottonwood Springs Visitor Center.
  • You'll find the trailhead at the campground, at Loop B, site 17B.
