El Corte de Madera Creek Open Space

El Corte de Madera Creek Open Space, established in 1988, features over 2000 acres of terrain etched with miles of trails accessible to mountain bikers.

Traveling through dense wooded sections, Coastal Redwood groves and across open meadows, the trail system of El Corte de Madera Creek Open Space features moderate climbing with some technical uphill sections and fast and fun downhills.

Trails of El Corte de Madera can be linked with Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space to create an epic ride. A map of El Corte de Madera will help with navigation and some trails are closed to mountain biking. Mosquitoes can be quite fierce during the summer months, so bug spray is recommended.
