Exploration Trail

Exploration Trail crawls about halfway up Keller Peak. The route is lined by cedars and boulders and makes a tough uphill and a fast downhill (although care is advised). If you want to get a look at some really excellent vistas, don't stop when Exploration Trail hits Keller Peak Road - take Keller Peak Road all the way up to Keller Peak Lookout. It's about 4 extra miles (making for a 16 mile roundtrip, rather than 8).
