Whether you're in it for a weekend of lake-side camping and water skiing or after something breezy at higher elevation suited towards sailors and windsurfers there's a body of water within relatively easy reach of Fresno.  A number of the local lakes and reservoirs also offer decent fishing including Millerton Lake State Recreation Area and Pine Flat Lake.
