G & J Outdoor Enterprises specializes in fly fishing trips for wild trout and steelhead on the Yuba River. The portion we fish is open 365 days a year and the fishing is good all year round. The Yuba is catch and release only with no bait. This allows the fish to grow to a large size, with the average trout between 14 and 17 inches long. These trout fight like no other - we break off at least one fish on most of our trips. We also guide on the American and Feather rivers when the bite is hot. You will be provided with all rods, reels and tackle for all trips but feel free to bring your own equipment. Full day trips last 8 hours and half day trips are 4 hours. Lunch and drinks are included on full day trips.
