Lassen Volcanic National Park - Scenic Drives

The Lassen Scenic Byway is a colorful route through not only the National Park, but geothermic vents and formations near the park and the surrounding mountains and alpine meadows of the lower Cascades. The Main Park Road itself is a dramatic scenic drive, if far shorter, threading through high lakes and peaks as appropriately named as Brokeoff Mountain.

Lassen Scenic Byway 185 miles (297 km) 5 hours

Main Park Road 29 miles 1 hour
The Main Park Road provides spectacular views of the Cascade and High Sierra Mountains.
