The lake lies in a beautiful setting surrounded by willows, alders and manzanitas. Impressive steep granite cliffs hold the southeast portion of the lake.

Directions
T9N, R6E, Section 34, off trail hike. Access is via the Mill Creek Lake Trail from Forest Road 8N02. Take Big Hill Road in the town of Hoopa to Forest Service Road 8N02. There is about a 45 minute hike in and primitive camping is available.
