Monterey - Fishing

Inland anglers will find the San Luis Reservoir well-stocked with species like largemouth bass, bluegill and trout, but the coastal piers are the real draw here. Walk out to the end of one of these and lay down a line, or charter a guide and take to the open water. The Bay is home to white croaker, surfperch, blue shark, halibut, sole, jacksmelt and flounder, just to name a few.
