Monterey - Whitewater Rafting

There are a few good, short rivers near Monterey, terrific for either a gentle morning ride or a teeth-clenching Class IV run. These are, again, not long, but they're both beautiful and conveniently close to the coast. Most of the stretches listed are located just southeast in Los Padres National Forest.
