Newport Landing Sportfishing is the fisherman's choice for open party fishing trips, whether they be local trips to the Huntington Flats and the Horseshoe Kelp, or freelance and overnight excursions to the outer banks, Catalina Island, or San Clemente Island.

Our Coast Guard licensed skippers know the most productive fishing grounds and they get there fast, with modern craft designed for maximum fishing action, featuring state-of-the-art navigational and fishing electronics.

Newport Landing Sportfishing offers several different open party trips daily. On the local scene, 1/2 Day trips, which run from 6:00am - 12:00pm and from 12:30-5:30pm, fish up and down the coast for bass, barracuda, halibut, and the occasional yellowtail or white seabass.

The 3/4 Day trips depart daily at 7:00am. They fish Catalina Island or the coast from San Onofre to the Horseshoe Kelp...wherever the fish are biting!

Anglers fishing on our open party overnight trips, fish Catalina, San Clemente, and the outer banks exclusively. On these trips you could expect to catch yellowtail, white seabass, yellowfin and bluefin tuna, albacore, and of course, calico bass and rockfish.
