Oceania
Oceania Cruises visits exotic locations and serves extraordinary cuisine, in an ambiance of casual elegance. While the deluxe furnishings and high-end atmosphere place Oceania's cruise ships in the category of luxury, Oceania does not have the formal dress requirements or strict dinner seating schedules of many upscale voyages. The atmosphere onboard is relaxed and comfortable, and the destinations--including the Black Sea, China, Scandinavia--are truly remarkable. Oceania Cruises feature all the activities and events that upscale cruise vacationers expect: wine tastings, live classical music, High Tea, and guest lectures by respected personages are all at hand. The cruise line takes particular pride in its onboard cuisine: five-star fare concocted by a master French chef and served along with a vast wine selection. After dinner, guests can relax in the casino or a cocktail lounge, or retire to their elegantly furnished cabins. Although Oceania Cruises does not disallow children onboard, there are no kids activities, and the cruise experience is geared towards mature couples who prefer art collections to dance clubs. Oceania Cruises tend to be longer than usual. The line visits destinations throughout Europe, South America, and the Far East.
