Orange County is within a short drive of four of Southern California's best ski resorts, from massive Bear Mountain Resort and its freestyle terrain park, Mountain High resort and its long, long runs, to Mount Baldy and its dramatic scenery, and the low-key, but intensely fun Ski Sunrise. All you've got to do to hit the slopes is make it through Inland Empire traffic.
