Palm Springs - Biking

Biking near Palm Springs is a bike through the high desert. Joshua Tree National Park is a few ridges away and the immediate landscape is dry and wild, more scrubland than tree land. But Palm Springs is proof that desert doesn't always mean flat dunelands. Expect exhausting pedals up steep ridges and sudden, difficult descents.

Bump and Grind Trail Intermediate 4 miles 1 hour
Although not as lonely as some other trails in the Palm Springs area, the scenery is no less gorgeous for that.

Hahns Buena Vista/Goat Trails Advanced 13 miles 2-3 hours
This desert ridge ridge is tough going even when the sun isn't high - this is certainly not recommended for the summer.

Hurkey Creek Advanced
Intermediate
8 miles 1-2 hours
This is more than just a loop. 24 Hours of Andrenaline hosts their 24 hour course here.
