Redwood National Park - Fishing

The Trinidad Pier is not far from Redwood National Park and as California's northernmost oceanfront pier merits a stop for this reason alone. The salmon fishing is fantastic and Redtail perch and smelt are plentiful in the surf near the pier.Optionally, spend some time angling in one the the rivers or streams that meanders through nearby national forest.
