Redwood National Park - Whitewater Rafting

The Klamath River begins wild in the Cascades, with rough rapid after rough rapid, gentling only somewhat as it moves into plateaus and redwood forest. The Salmon begins very gentle indeed, a quiet float interrupted now and again by pool-drop rapids. But when it becomes rough, it becomes very rough, weaving downward through steep gorge walls and over pounding rapids.

Klamath River Up to Class V
The Klamath River winds southward from the heights of the Oregon Cascades and down through northern California. Arid canyons rim the Oregon stretches, which are typically more difficult . . . "Hell's Corner" in particular.

Klamath River - Lower Up to Class III
1-5 Days
The Lower Klamath is the quintessential beginner-intermediate whitewater run with over a hundred river miles to explore. An excellent multi-day adventure, the Lower Klamath is dominated by fun and splashy Class III rapids.

Klamath River - Upper Up to Class IV
1-2 Days
Originating in Oregon and ending in California, the Upper Klamath is an excellent destination river for advanced-intermediate boaters.

Salmon River - Forks of Salmon to Nordheimer Gorge Up to Class II
