Nearby Riverside are several major off roading areas - some mountainous, some defined by canyons, others at desert's edge. Riverside is close to both the greenery of the north and the sands and chaparral of the east. Try El Mirage Dry Lake for a flatter, eerier offroad experience or Juniper Flats and Ord Mountain for a rough, rocky, canyon ride.

El Mirage Dry Lake OHV Area		Beginner Intermediate Difficult	Thousands of acres	3 hours+

	This is an officially designated off-road area that has a number of distinct areas - El Mirage lakebed, a large basin, Shadow Mountains and Twin Hills.

Juniper Flats		Beginner Intermediate	3 hours+

	Located as it is in the San Bernadino Mountains' foothills, the terrain of Juniper Flats is mountainous, when it's not split low by canyons.

Ord Mountain Route Network		Beginner Intermediate	3 hours+

	The terrain of Ord Mountain Route Network is mountainously rough and routes often run through canyons.
