The byway follows HWY 12 from Annadel State Park southwest to Sonoma.

Jack London State Historic Park is an 800 acre complex dedicated to this important author, and includes several historic buildings and lots of quiet scenery. Annadel State Park is also along the drive and contributes lakes, hiking trails and bird watching opportunities to the mix.
