San Bernardino - Scenic Drives

San Bernardino, at the edge of the both the Inland Empire and national forest, is but an evolutionary step between palm trees and fir, heavily populated metropolitan areas and protected mountains. Close to both desert and shady heights, it's possible to go from hot to refreshingly cool on a relatively easy scenic drive.

Routes to consider in and around San Bernardino County are listed below.

Angeles Crest Scenic Byway (Route 2) 55 miles (88 km) 3 hours

Bradshaw Trail 65 miles (104 km) Varies according to weather and vehicle.

Palms to Pines Scenic Byway 67 miles (107 km) About 1.5 hours

Ramona Expressway

Rim of the World Scenic Byway 107 miles (172 km) About 4 hours
