San Luis Obispo - Whitewater Rafting

Seasonally, there's a stretch of the Cuyama River that is popular with whitewater rafters and within easy reach of San Luis Obispo. Local outfitters offer guided runs, conditions permitting.

Cuyama River		Up to Class IV

	This stretch of intense water from Highway 166 to Twitchell Reservoir is the only part of the Cuyama you can raft. If it were any longer, it might be too intense.
