Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Park - Biking

Biking in the national parks is only allowed on paved roads, but that still leaves plenty of routes for cyclists to enjoy. The best time for biking is late spring to late fall, when all roads are open. Whiskey Flat Trail, a long, rough downhill, is nearby if you want to try your cycling skills on something more strenuous.

Holland Mountain Advanced 4-6 miles

Jeep Trail Intermediate 8 miles

Shepherd Saddle Road Beginner

Whiskey Flat Trail Advanced 15 miles 3-4 hours
If a ride by the Kern River and down the side of a mountain appeals to you (and oh does it appeal to many), try Whiskey Flat.
