The trail starts from the south, crossing over Eight Mile Ridge into the Pilot Creek watershed and then heads north eventually paralleling Pilot Creek to its junction with the Torrey Corrals Trail. This is one of the older trails in the watershed. It shows up on the 1897 GLO map. It connected several homesteads and was used for livestock.

Basic Directions

The trail starts at T2N, R6E, section 29. To get there, travel up Route 1 from Mad River to forest road 2N05 and turn left. Go 1 mile to the intersection of 2N12 and 2N05. It is here you will find the trailhead.
