Sugar Bowl Resort
|
Sugar Bowl Resort started out with the first chairlift in California in 1939 and has only improved over the years. From heart-pounding chutes and corduroy cruisers, to gentle rollers and incredible terrain parks, whatever you’re into, you’ll find plenty of it at Sugar Bowl. If it’s fresh powder all day long then Sugar Bowl has you covered with an average snowfall of 500 inches per year. Sugar Bowl offers over 1,500 skiable acres, and 1,500 vertical feet of outstanding terrain for all levels including 17% beginner, 45% intermediate, and 38% advanced.
This year Sugar Bowl will be expanding the General Admission program to include a Free Lesson of any level and Free Rentals midweek non-holiday with the purchase of your lift ticket for the entire ’08-’09 season! If you’re just starting out this is the perfect deal for you. If you’ve been at it a while and wondered what it’s like to try another discipline but didn’t want to pay extra, now is a great time to give it a shot at no cost to you! Come to Sugar Bowl for your free rentals and lessons and try something new and exciting, or just brush up on your skills.
The Switching Yard Terrain Park located on Judah has been vastly improved for the ’08-‘09 season. Sugar Bowl will introduce “Pocket Parks” which will encompass all of Judah while enhancing the flow and ski-through ability of the parks. In addition to these improvements Sugar Bowl will add a half pipe on Judah as well as a publicly accessible, season long, Olympic caliber Skier-Boarder-X course which will be the training grounds for 2010 Olympic hopefuls Daron Rhalves and Jayson Hale.
Make Sugar Bowl your choice for the best winter fun this season!
