The Racetrack

The Racetrack is a dry lakebed famous for its moving rocks and beyond it is the Lippincott Mine and a camping area. Don't drive on the lakebed itself. The road is high-clearance, so not too rough.

Location: Death Valley National Park
Difficulty: Beginner
Intermediate
Length: 28 miles
Camping Info: Camping available after first 2 miles. No camping between Teakettle Junction and Homestake Dry Camp.
