Description
Burnt Ranch Gorge is one of the premier expert whitewater runs in the western United States. This tight, sheer walled river canyon is only accessible by boat and features the most ferocious and demanding rapids available to commercial customers in California.
Mazes of boulders and ledges choke the riverbed in the gorge, creating formidable holes, ledge drops, hydraulics and sluices to navigate through. The 8.5 mile gorge is run as a single day trip only and previous whitewater experience and good physical fitness are mandatory.
