Wilderness Adventures was created in 1979 to offer unique adventures on a series of remarkable rivers in the North State region of California. A well established company for many years, we have grown little in size but large in recognition. Our success is due to our knowledge and experience, love for adventure, spirit of discovery, and a strong commitment to providing each guest with a memorable experience. We are a high quality outfitter providing some of the most challenging adventures in the world. We have a strong whitewater emphasis but a diversified program that provides access to other adventure sports and wilderness travel as well. While our focus is on river trips, we also provide quality trips with little or no river time. We offer one day trips to twelve day expeditions in some of the most pristine wilderness areas of California.
