Yosemite National Park - Boating
The Stanislaus National Forest has a good number of small lakes,
excellent for a quiet row under pine bows. The Sierra National
Forest is much the same, scattered with small, scenic and slightly
isolated bodies of water, some of which are inaccessible by road. Those after creature comforts will do well to take to bigger bodies of water like houseboating hotspots, Lake McClure and Lake New Melones. We
have special coverage on McClure
and New
Melones if houseboating a stone's throw from Yosemite appeals to you.
