Oxnard - Hiking

Whether your idea of a good day hike is a mellow nature trail through the forest or an intense, two day backpacking slog up a mountain there's either to be found in the general Oxnard/Ventura area. From here, it's also possible to arrange transportation to Channel Islands National Park, a protected clutch of islands laced with short nature trails and edged with the occasional secluded beach.
