Bass World Lodge & Marina is located on the St. John's River, about one mile north of Lake George, directly across from the Ocala National Forest, in the heart old Florida's nature and wildlife.
Bass World Lodge is a relaxing, wooded, shady riverfront resort. The seasons bring in a variety of native wildlife. Cooler temperatures bring manatee to a spring near our dock. Pelicans and cranes often arrive to view the day's catch to see if the fishermen caught more than they did. Owls, eagles, and osprey often fly by as well. Prefer reptiles? Boat along the river to see turtles and an occasion alligator, also.
If you enjoy fishing, Bass World is famous for Large Mouth BASS. along with bream, mullet, catish and flounder can be caught. 4-5 inch shrimp are in the river August and September. The guides on our referral list can spend the day with visitors and show them just where and how to catch the big one's.
If life at Bass World gets too quiet and relaxed, We can be your base to Disney, Daytona Beach and old St. Augustine is just a short drive away. Silver Springs can be explored on an old-fashioned glass bottom boat ride. D

Bass World's cabins all have TVs, microwaves, frig., stoves, pots and pans, and dishes.
Free WIFI for guests.
Pet friendly on leash and proof of flea treatment (or flea damage deposit).
Pontoons and bass boats are available for rent. The bass boats can hold 2-3 fishermen. The pontoon boats are from 20' to 26' and can hold from 5-10 individuals.
Great Group Discounts for Family Reunions, Clubs, Business Retreats, churches. etc.
Bass World can accomodate up to 57 persons in cabins, and 4 RV spaces are available.
