Description
This interpretive trail has the first half mile surfaced and is accessible for wheel chairs, walkers, and other similar types of equipment. Along the trail, you will enjoy interpretive signs focused on wildlife and ecosystem management of the national forest. Other features include a scenic vista overlooking the City of Danville, trail shelters, and access to the City of Danville trail system.

Nearby, the Corps of Engineers has two recreation areas offer camping, boating, swimming, and fishing.
Blue Mountain Lake is 15 miles west of Danville.
Lake Nimrod is about 15 miles south of Danville.
