The Main Kings River offers big-flow whitewater rafting, a bit of an anomaly in California. Large, punchy rapids predominate this stretch of fantastic intermediate whitewater, sure to thrill any boater looking for exciting ride.
The Main Kings cuts deep through a dry canyon, which is blanketed in wildflowers in the months of May & June, the peak of the boating section here.
This nine-mile run can be floated as either a day or overnight trip, with excellent camping along the stretch.
