Description

The trail follows an old road from Rock Creek (8 miles up South Fork Road)up over the top of Little Bald Hills and down down into Redwood National Park. Nice views of the South Fork of the Smith.

Basic Directions

From Gasquet on Highway 199, travel 7.2 miles west to South Fork Road (427). Turn onto 427 and travel 7.3 miles to Paradise Trail on the right. Hike up Paradise Trail for 1.1 miles to Little Bald Hills Trail. The trail can also be accessed thru Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park via Howland Hill Road near Hiouchi.
