Description
Trail in the western side of the Trinity Alps Wilderness, takes off from trail 6E14 and goes around lower Mill Creek Lake. Fishing and camping opportunities. Beautiful scenery.
Trail takes off out of the Mill Creek Trailhead above the Hoopa Reservation. Trailhead has a corral, but no water.

Basic Directions
You access the Mill Creek Lakes Trailhead out of Orleans, California. From the Ranger Station in Orleans head East on highway 96 just over the Klamath River and turn right onto Red Cap Road. Look for mile markers on the side of the road. Stay on this road until you reach the junction with road 10N02, approximately 6 miles in, turn right onto road 10N02. Proceed on this road and follow signage for approximately 26 miles until you reach the junction with road 8N10, turn left onto road 8N10. This road will dead end at the trailhead, approximately 2 miles up. From the junction of highway 96 and Red Cap Road, it is approximately 34 miles to the trailhead and takes approximately 1½ hrs. to 1¾ hrs. to drive. The roads are paved and dirt/gravel.
