Description

Forest Trail 9E08. The road to the trail head leaves the Quincy-La Porte Road along the Hogback. Go north past Fingerboard Spring 1.1 mile and turn right on the Belfrin Mine Road; go 1.7 miles to the junction, turn left at the junction, and go .3 mile, then stay left for .1 mile to the trail head. The last mile is very brushy. The 3.0 mile trail leads to the Middle Fork of the Feather River. Good campsites at the river. Trail head T23N, R1OE, Section 30, Elevation 5600 feet. NOT RECOMMENDED for horses. ATV's & motorbikes PROHIBITED.
