Basic Directions
Trail begins from Sunrise Lodge at Mt. Bachelor Ski Area, 21 miles west of Bend up Century Drive.
Description
This very steep trail switchbacks beneath chair lifts to the summit of Mt. Bachelor. It affords a close-up look at a young volcano and provides scenic views to the nearby Three Sisters and Broken Top volcanoes. For a fee, hikers can ride a chairlift to the summit and descend by this trail.
