Description

The PCA was established in 1976 as the non-profit Arts Council for the Long Beach region. Its goal is to make the city the best community in the world for connecting families and kids to the arts. For more than twenty years, the PCA has assisted more than 85 arts organizations and more than 330 emerging, mid-career, and professional artists with funding, marketing support, advocacy, professional training, and technical assistance. In addition, PCA-supported organizations annually touch the lives of 100,000 students. The City of Long Beach recognizes the PCA as its official local arts agency.
