Description

Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park, located in the wartime boomtown of Richmond, California, preserves and interprets the stories and places of the nation's home front response to World War II.

Hours:

Visitor Center: PASSPORT STAMP STATION
Monday to Friday; 8:30am to 5:00pm except major holidays.
Please Call 510-232-5050 for Visitor Center information.

Rosie Memorial:The Rosie the Riveter Memorial in Marina Bay Park is open year round, dawn to dusk, as are the other city parks within the National Park's boundries.

Red Oak Victory Ship: PASSPORT STAMP STATION

Open 10am - 4pm on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Please call 510-237-2933 for further information..
Note: The ship operating hours are subject to change since this is an all-volunteer organization.

Basic Directions

To Visitors Center

From Oakland/San Francisco
Interstate 80 East. Exit to I-580 West towards Richmond/San Rafael. Exit Marina Bay/South 23rd Street. Turn left (over the freeway overpass), drive approx. 1/2 mile. Turn right onto Regatta. Follow Regatta to ending at T intersection. Turn left onto Marina Way South.

From Sacramento
Interstate 80 West. Exit on Cutting Blvd., drive approx. 1 1/2 miles. Turn left onto Marina Way South.

From San Rafael
Interstate 580 East. Exit Marina Bay/South 23rd Street. Turn right, drive approx. 1/2 mile. Turn right onto Regatta. Follow Regatta to ending at T intersection. Turn left onto Marina Way South.

To Rosie Memorial

From Oakland/San Francisco
Interstate 80 East. Exit to I-580 West towards Richmond/San Rafael. Exit Marina Bay/South 23rd Street. Turn left (over the freeway overpass), drive approx. 1/2 mile. Turn right onto Regatta. Turn first left at Melville into the parking lot of Marina Bay Park.


From Sacramento
