Description
Route 680—Alameda County Scenic Byway gets its name from its surroundings, "alameda" meaning "the place where trees grow." Amongst an intensely urban area of California, this drive offers a rare escape into a leafy setting.
Route 680—Alameda County Scenic Byway starts from Mission Boulevard in Fremont and travels to the Contra Costa County line on HWY 680 taking in gently wooded valleys and hills.
