Most people expect to see giraffes, gorillas, and lions at the zoo. But what about a golden-bellied mangabey, an addax, or a Bengal monitor? Those are just some of the animals on the endangered species list preserved and thriving at the Sacramento Zoo. Of course, you'll see your fair share of lions, tigers, and bears, too.

Hours + Fees

Februay through October: 9 am to 4 pm
November through January: 10 am to 4 pm.
Closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Open year-round

The Sacramento Zoo is located south of downtown on the corner of Sutterville Road and Land Park Drive, just off the I-5 freeway.
