Sandy Beach Campground is privately owned and operated

The Sandy Beach Campground is close to North Tahoe Regional Park, a great place to stretch your legs. Take a refreshing hike along the Mount Rose Trail or the Edward F. Dolder Nature Trail. The Truckee River is nearby and offers whitewater rafting during the rafting season. In the winter, head up to Northstar at Tahoe ski resort.

Contact the campground host in case of emergency. Medical services are available in Incline Village, NV. Groceries, fuel, laundry and other services are available.

Basic Directions

Take Hwy 50 north from South Lake Tahoe approximately 16 miles to the Junction of Hwy 50 and Hwy 28. Continue north approximately 10 miles to North Lake Blvd. Continue on North Lake Blvd. approximately 8 miles to the campground.
