Description
The trails of Wilder Ranch Park offer riders an opportunity to explore nature in the Santa Cruz area. Once a working dairy ranch, Wilder Ranch is now a preserve, seasonally open to cattle grazing.
Wilder Ranch Park features 28 miles of mountain bike accessible trails on 7200 acres of land. The trails feature some technical sections and lots of good climbing. Several rocky stream crossings add a bit of challenge to the Wilder Ranch trails, especially after a rain, which may close access to trails.
Bikers can also ride in the Gray Whale Annex section of Wilder Ranch Park. A helpful map of the entire complex is posted on a board by the ranch structures.
