Description
A footbridge crosses Big Creek past sage and rock. About 2 miles along trail is a pond with fish beyond which the trail drops down and crosses the creek again with abundant willow growth around the creek area. The trail starts through meadows but narrows considerably with a high drop off on side. Bikers are advised to ride with caution until they pass the lake. Once again the trail reaches rolling terrain with Douglas fir trees until it intersects with Wet Creek and Long Lost trails. Elk inhabit the area in abundance as well as some beaver around the creek and deer. For the avid rock hound, there is known to be both Agate and Fire Opals along this trail.
