The drive includes recreational opportunities everyone can enjoy, such as the celebrated Roaring River State Park, the geographic wonders of Onyx Cave, and the ever-popular Table Rock Lake. Roaring River State Park has long been known for its fine trout fishing. Over ten miles of hiking trails meander among hardwood forests and through narrow valleys. Famous for its good trout supply and fishing hatchery, Roaring River Spring is every angler's dreams come true. The park abounds in campsites and lodges, cabin or inn accommodations, making this a perfect vacation destination. Mark Twain National Forest's Onyx Cave on Forest Road 197 treats travelers to a geographic marvel of nature sure to impress younger and older tourists alike.
